Students, if you are reading this post, please don't continue with this school(Everest College - not sure if it should be called this)and get this loan forgiven by the Department of Education 1-800-872-5327. Start fresh and go to a real school like a community college or if you feel lucky university.

CCs do have placement tests, but they also offer remedial courses for students who aren't at an appropriate level. Most are open admission, so will admit basically anyone. They tend to have small classes and a lot more hand-holding than universities, so are a good fit for most CCi students. I agree that a good 15-20% of CCi students will not benefit from any type of college or trade school. They have a poor attitude and are so lazy as to be unemployable in any field. No college can fix that.
18992 is right. Prospective students have to pass a placement test. Most of these students would never pass.
It's my understanding that the DE will not forgive loans until after a closure.
Time for LOA.
18992- Yes, that's right, these students can only survive phoney bologna until the debt comes due.
Can't get a loan forgiven until it closes, and then only in certain circumstances. Get your facts straight!
Hey father numbskull. A lot of these students cant cut it at a cc or a traditional university. This is it.
