There are people here with/without degrees who found this job rewarding and believed in what they were doing. Just because upper management messes up doesn't mean that all the employees are stupid, lack the skills to find other employment or have lowered their moral and ethical standards. It is just a matter of time now to find another position yet no one should settle for companies which do not allow you to use the bathroom without a formal request/approval.

What is my problem? This is a layoff board not a trash talk employees board. Venting is one thing. Being demeaning, demoralized and straight up slanderous is another. People are posting real names out here and that is just wrong! I come here to get information and yes, more layoffs I am sure but that doesn't give anyone the right to slam the employees who have done nothing to sink this ship.

I'll disagree with 18800. There has been a bit of employee bashing, but that seems to be from some outside trolls. This has been a good place to come and vent about how management has run the company into the ground, mistreated employees, and continues to be secretive and patronizing about this period. Sharing management horror stories is good for us. People need to know that it's not their imagination. Most of us were mistreated and that's not how every company is. I hope everyone lands on their feet. I know for sure everyone will be relieved to be out of my office, job waiting or not.
This forum started out as a really good way for employees to communicate. It has since turned into a bash admin and upper management and self loathing. Everyone that had any professionalism or decency is long gone. I just check every now and then to see if any real information is being told to anyone.

If the economy were better over the last 5 years, CCi would not have had as many students, and without that $200 million in cash, management could never have been so arrogant.
After CCi, pretty much any employment will seem pleasant and respectful. You're right - lots of great people at CCi, past and present. It's the scumbags in management (at all levels) who are the conniving, sociopathic jerks. Everyone else, even admissions, just do what they have to to survive. If the economy had been better the last 5 years, they wouldn't have been able to treat people so badly and force them to commit unethical acts.
