Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

I GOT LAID OFF BUT JACK GOT A 115% SALARY INCREASE!

This article fails to mention that although staff are being cut, executive bonuses are not being cut. The LA Times reported that Jack Massimino will be receiving a bonus of 115% of his annual salary. Bloomberg reported that Corinthian is in danger of violating the federal "90/10" rules, which say that a school cannot draw more than 90 percent of its revenue from federal financial aid. A CEO who lays off staff without cutting his own bonus, in an industry that relies almost exclusively on federal funding but resents federal oversite, is not a credible information source.

Does this mean Jack was a credible source when there were no layoffs? Once upon a time, bonuses were given when companies exceeded expectations.

I guess I'm jealous, too. Considering there has been a freeze on pay increases for the last year. The 2 years prior raises were less than we were told.

Get your own job of CEO and stop being jealous. It's called America and why don't you yell at Kobe for all the money he makes?
