Nobody wants the "Everest" brand, only an idiot would buy and keep the name. There are other reasons to check the bottom line for potential profitability and the Online schools are a good bet, albeit with a name change.
Online is connected to the campuses, it's not a separate entity. The campuses that survive will still have online students. As long as there is a buyer for the brand "Everest" we will continue. They will be looking for a buyer for the Everest brand, all the remaining campuses, and therefore, the online part. Online is a money-maker. No worries.
EVU Online was never an entity of its own, they started out bouncing it around from Florida OPEID to another. In more recent years they started just splitting up the students between different campuses. In other words...there is nothing at EVU online to sell.
