On the assumption that most threads here are from employees, my question is: where is your sense of personal RESPONSIBILITY? If you don't believe in the company's value proposition, mission/vision, WHAT YOU DO, etc., then why do you work here? As a CCi employee I can say that I am proud of the work that I do. Within my sphere of influence and as far as I am aware we consistently do the right thing. I'm not suggesting that NO ONE ever did anything wrong, but I don’t believe we have policies or processes that are unethical, only bad decisions or actions made by individuals. It makes me sick that some people claim to have worked here for many years and have witnessed all sorts of bad things—what did you do about any of it? If you're an employee that had knowledge of any wrong-doing OR committed any wrong-doing under poor leadership, why didn't you speak up? Wouldn’t you rather be part of the solution. Lastly, if you’re not happy and you’ve been unhappy for some time, why don’t you exercise personal accountability for your career and find happiness and fulfillment elsewhere? You can work anywhere you want. I hope your life’s work will be invested somewhere you can feel good about. Naturally, I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the situation and how the company is unraveling. I’m also very disappointed in our leadership and the communication (or lack thereof). However, I will try to the best of my ability to support my students and fellow employees through these difficult times, and if things don’t pan out, I’ll go work somewhere else and continue to hold my head high. If you have people that are counting on you (students/colleagues/family), you don’t have to join the pity-party and trash-talkers. Your energy and effort might be more effective elsewhere.

You speak very highly of a corp that has betrayed its customers employees and the public ... Won't produce documents as all fed contract require and actually signed contracts to pay for fake job placement.
18108.....you are absolutely right. I know of one such person, and she was truly a troll.....with connections it appears. As far as the Parthenon winner every year...you are right too. She then went on to be DOA at another school and we tried to sue her. She too would be one that would have helped to crumble this company. It's funny that people that participated WILLINGLY, are suddenly so cooperative. This is an incestuous industry and more schools will follow. To the original poster....I would have left years ago if I could find another job. I've been interviewing for months and Everest is a tainted name. So there. Wait until you try to find another job and you will see.
"I guess you missed the part where people who spoke up were terminated by the company..."
And then went to the regulators and helped cause what is happening now:)
No I can't work the corner. You should see me, I'm a hot ass mess.
You can work the street corner to pay the bills.
I agree that Parthenon was just rewarding the worst and so unfair to everyone else. Getting a job ain't easy so it's kind of dumb to question why anyone would work anywhere. to pay bills, duh!
With that mentality stay at the expense of students. What goes around comes around!

"92,000,000 people in the US are not working. Tell me where the good paying jobs are and I'll quit CCI" And of the 92,000,000 how many are seeking work?
Just because we are choosing to finish what we start and be there for the students who need us doesn't mean we are "drinking the kook-aid". It means that there are still some good people who care and don't want to leave the current students in the lurch. Put yourself in their shoes. We promised them an education. I think we need to stand by our word and help them anyway we can. Thank you 17781 for sharing your post.
nice spiel, Jack
Man....take about drinking the kool-aid
I know, from personal experience that they do not tell the truth to their employees and students. It took me awhile to figure it out. I was told one day it was a BUSINESS. We had one employee that went to Parthenon EVERY year and her cubicle was filled with awards. She was in admissions and brought in homeless, mentally ill, drug users, and people that could not speak English. Instructors always knew who signed what students up. When we complained nothing was done about her and her tactics because she was bringing in the money. If people care to vent here or have a pity party, I think it's appropriate. However there are the trolls and you have to figure out who is who. Anyone that puts their heart into their work and then is abused feels hurt. I'm glad I walked out on my own. I also think many are disappointed and that sometimes is displayed in an angry manner.

get serious and get a real job
I guess you missed the part where people who spoke up were terminated by the company...
Finally somebody that has it right. People stay for their own reasons. Greed laziness. Lack of ethics. Lack of responsibility. I've noticed that some people will take a paycheck for anything or nothing. I agree. If u don't like it go. Just go. Please go. U don't help a thing but bring others down. Just go
Next slide please.
Whatever. Keep drinking the fruit punch.
