So Sad. 16400

I absolutely understand how Anonymous 16400 feels. He does however disclose an additional serious sad fact.

Heald was the bomb. They did it the right way. .... Doing it the right lowered revenue and assets to the point that the were vulnerable to a buy-out. Ironic

and SAD.

Yes, we were truthful, told to take attendance, and not to inflate grades. We had pretty good morale on our campus, bi-yearly gatherings, and were kept in the loop with the corporate office. Our campus director did her best to shield us from the B.S. Fortunately the faculty and staff were pretty open, and we knew the changes that were coming were not good. I used to use the current campus situation as an example when I taught HR class. I would show my students 4 different types of resumes I possessed depending on the job I would apply for in case I was let go. Heald operated like any other business. If you voiced your opinion and made waves, you were soon out of a job. If you did your job and played the game, you were kept on. CCI was just starting to centralize our campuses' reporting and I could tell it was only a matter of time before they started to layoff staff positions due to redundancy. I loved my job, but knew it was time to go, after 13 years. (I was actually planning to leave when I made 10 years)
