Cell phone discount

If you are with Sprint, let them know you work for CCI and you will get an 18% discount off your monthly cost. They will send you an email to your work email address to confirm you really work for them and then you are good for a year. You might as well get SOMETHING out of the deal and do it while you still have their email address!

Not really a great benefit. I switched companies and the new one has the same thing, along with similar discounts from other providers. It's common practice to advertise discounts through employers this way. It makes people feel they're getting a special deal. If you've paid for your phone and out of contract try T-Mobile's service-only deal (most rates include the cost of a new phone broken out over two years). It'll prob save you more $$$ which will come in handy if you're unemployed.

Not true...the discount is 22% (in california) and it's applied only to the primary main line on the account if there are more than one.

In my case it's a $24.26 discount and I've had it for over 2 years now.

I went into Sprint and upgraded. The salesman suggested my bill would go up $0.01. Then when the discount came through, the 18% was applied to a little tiny portion of the total bill, unlike before my upgrade. I wondered if the salesman worked for CCi before Sprint. In any event, the bill went up significantly. I guess it won't be so bad when I next upgrade and lose the tiny discount.
