Call for Action

This whole "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a Hamburger today" crap that CCI is asking of their employees is ridiculous and deplorable. These are just hard working, dedicated American workers trying to survive. They can't jet off to...well anywhere...to bitch, whine, complain and blame someone else for their lack of money. Someone truly needs to step in when a company is in such dire straights that they would even suggest that these hard working people should show up with no promise to be paid. This is NOT a NON profit company so don't expect your workers to suddenly become un-paid volunteers. One of their civil rights is freedom from involuntary servitude. You, CCI contracted to pay them for each day that they show up, otherwise you need to release them. When a company is in such disarray and has engaged in so many questionable actions as this one, I believe it is time to call in some Big Brave Guns to represent and insure that the remaining employees are not abused or taken advantage of. CCI's remaining employees direly need legal representation.

If you are not paid, you don't need to work. You can cut CCi off the moment a payday is missed. Beyond that, will any attorney get better information today? I don't think so. Also I'm not talking about simple mistakes and such, but when the "going concern" shot has been fired, you have a pretty good case that you don't expect to get paid.

The "getting out without working for free" is where current employees need legal advice and assistance. Unless and until they are locked out or laid off...to simply not show up for work, when work is available, is not an option.

Again..they need a strong hand in their defense.

Also cut losses means get out without working for free.

Oh, I agree that the employees need legal representation, but it's time to cut losses.

Excuse me? You are an employee and will work without pay as CCI hopes you will? My comment was in defense of you. I'm a bit confused by your response.

No, no, no. Don't spend one dime on legal representation, since there is no money here. Spend your time and money where it actually counts for something.
