Maybe if Kenny got out of his grand office and open his eyes, he would see the type of students that CCI recruits. Many of them can't read or write, and belong in kindergarten. They are open enrollment, do no basic skills testing, and offer no remedial classes. Instructors are left with teaching the unteachable. Outreach is ineffective. How about giving us students that are prepared for college and have personal responsibility to attend classes?? Kenny is an example of the unethical management that got CCI into this mess. The audacity of him to blame instructors for his wrongdoings!!

Time and again, term after term, I see students come through and it's clear they cannot read at a level they need to in order to handle the workload. I can prove it. Go look at quiz scores. Instructors have no control over quizzes. I see more students fail than pass on a weekly basis.
Worst part is that tutoring is optional for students that can barely read.
"Then again, I would argue that leadership in general is as big a joke as what Jenkins said today." When did you first realize this?
If Ken Jenkins really believed those statements to be true, he does not know how CCI operates, and therefore should not be in his job. Then again, I would argue that leadership in general is as big a joke as what Jenkins said today.
Ken Jenkins can kiss our asses in the classes!!!!
I've heard there's a waiver they ask students to sign so they become illegible for tutoring, as well. So, after preying on these people for the FA $, they ask them to sign away their chance for extra help, and then it's our fault they don't succeed.
