L-3s answer will be to make us employees go thru yet another round of irrelevant ethics training. Un-ethical, criminal behavior must be a part of the job description to be at the level where bonuses are given.

it is truly amazing and sickening the entire time to have a facility with NO ETHICS such as CSE even have Ethics Training. Is it ethical to 'create job positions' for our favorites? Don't call or email Ethics because it the issue will go straight to the person that you have the issue. Way to go Ethics! Greg Roberts, Bob Martin, John Tierney, and Mike Rielly HAVE NO ETHICS... How did they get away with it? Who else can have Ops employees build a house and get OT for it? That was then, it's no matter, if not worse now. The idea of ETHICS in that location is a joke. And now with this 'regime' another layoff. Michael Strianese: Get rid of the garbage at the top!
I filed a huge ethics complaint with L-3 Corp. against the QA VP and one of his directors last year. The constant abuse and discrimination against women and non-LDS employees was legend. No matter how many times we told "Mr. Ethics" that he could not favor LDS priesthood members in promotions, hiring, firing, performance reviews, raises, he refused to listen. This guy had been the company ethics officer for over 20 years and was a total disgrace. The rest of us, even devout LDS women, could not get any opportunities for advancement. The corporate Ethics Office in NY finally called to say they verified my claims as true. I asked him why then are these men still employed with L-3 while most their victims have lost their jobs? These creeps violated every EEO regulation regarding discrimination based on gender, religion, violence and harassment in the workplace, retaliation, etc. Years ago one of his former QA managers sanitized internal audit reports and lied to the ISO/NQA auditors. When this was reported constantly to the VP he re-assigned the auditor and covered up the ISO violations. Nothing much has changed because he is still employed at L-3 although it appears not as a VP any longer. The director is still in the same position he held. Nothing will change unless employees speak up, report and challenge illegal practices. It cost me my job but at least I can sleep at night. No one has to accept this kind of abuse! If you don't stand up and fight you deserve what you get.
I had a team lead say "Don't you f***ing threaten me!" and my manager say "Are you threatening me!?" when I brought up ethics and what I was being told to do at any cost (charge a job code and NOT overhead, no matter what, even though we had about 20% of the normal workload).
That said, I can say my manager didn't immediately fire me.. but I was caught up in the 1st mass-layoff on April 18, 2013 at CSW. They don't really want the drama of any change at all, until corporate forces them. I think that's because they are so used to covering each others's asses in the good ol boys club aka the 10-tiered levels of management, aka "You're in for life no matter how much you f*** up" club. Oh well, my life has been drama free since leaving this company, maybe one day I will work there again if things pick up in the ethics department and they give a shit about the little guys that try to do the job right and actually work to corporate standards.
The "ethics" training course, as Anonymous said before me, are just to cover the higher up levels so they can say in court that "we sent out ethics training material and had everyone trained", it's an ass-covering maneuver.
Haha. You are correct. Our manager chuckles the entire time he is presenting the presentation. Even suggest the ethical employee is adding to the drama.
