Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

For those of you still convinced nothing has or will change, now might be a good time to see what's really going on.

Things have and will changed. And it's possible CCI won't be able to limp along until there's a sale.

Today was the first time that some of the, uh, more naïve employees here finally started to get it. We're near the end.

If ECPO is what CCI considers gold, then I will have to attempt to re-define the term. ECPO was on show cause for 2 years, they couldn't even find anyone to run it until that ended. CCI is simply a portfolio of garbage that nobody wants.

Someone posted yesterday that for spring term, ECPO had 27,000 students. Summer term has 16,000. There might not be anything left to sell. I don't know how schools are valued, but without a line of credit, a decimated student body, and leading (not owning) a building is slashing the price of at least this online school. But from what wee were always told, ECPO is the golden child of Everest. Or was.

At this point, a sale is looking less and less likely. Hehehehehe.
