It's true. If you get laid off this year (or at any point going forward), under the new severance program, you get so many weeks of severance pay based on your salary and years with the company but you will not get your stock. HR has kept the new severance program hush hush. It's sad because I know a lot of people have turned down offers from other companies to jump ship but remained loyal to CHK knowing (or at least thinking) if they were ever laid off, they'd at least be given their stock. A shame they won't ultimately be rewarded for their loyalty. Even more of a shame that the change in the severance program has been kept so hush hush.... so much for open communication and transparency.....

Wouldn't be surprised since already tried to hide the SSE stock from us
If you think morale is down now wait till word gets out that they are laying people off company-wide and not accelerating the vesting of their stock.....
