Students ask for help and maybe some leniency because they have a reading comprehension issue or do not understand the assignments and the instructors do not help in every way that they promise. They beat around the bush and do not give direct answers to the question(s). The developers of the assignments for the discussion boards and individual work assignments are poorly administered and developed. They have more grammatical errors, punctuation errors and do not provide any reference sources, but yet the students are required to provide references, have proper grammar and spelling, along with proper English with proper punctuation. There are some instructors that make more grammatical, reference and punctuation mistakes than the students do. Yes, I saw some students that have issues structuring a proper sentence along with the instructor responding to it with improper grammar and when I would respond with "Please clarify your post" I get my ass chewed out for asking for better clarification by the instructor. So, the instructors, student services and the rest of the employees complaining about students, take a look in the mirror at why some students do not want to bother doing the work. You all are like the kettle calling the pot black. CONTRADICTORY!!

The initial platform is not user friendly as we have to go to different web sites to log in to view our degree plan, account, documents, etc. outside of the classroom portal. The classroom portal does not provide a one time log in to review everything that deals with financial aid documents, degree plan, etc. Make it all one site and stop wasting money on multiple url's that take up more bandwidth than that of utilizing two or more url's. It would be beneficial to incorporate live weekly seminars to help assist students. They work WONDERS!!!!

The reason the calling doesn't work is because there are bad students who are really there for stipends. Seriously, I would not have gone to school if I needed a damn stipend check especially online. The damn school provides everything except decent financial aid service.

Of course, they need students to attend classes because if their grades drop too low then their financial aid can end. However, I was in a class with a student who said they couldn't participate in a teamwork assignment that week because there was a party they had to attend. Everest would have done better if they looked for serious students and not easy marks or gotten rid of those bad students to stop their gravy train.

These are the lazy ass students we have, not to mention going to jail, being homeless, getting kids taken away and of course all the baby daddy drama! Sucks for the 3 out of the ten students we have who really want an education and are not living off welfare!!

2001 really oh my gosh I thought there was a prize lol. I know there's no reward for it, being you have an advanced degree, I would assume you already know that fact. Just because you have an advanced degree doesn't mean you know what you're talking about. Again just hush, you're sounding dumber by the second again. I wasn't trying to dismiss the fact I have to pay them idiot, I was stating a fact, but you didn't know that even though I made it blatantly obvious.

I'm not dumb at all. I have an advanced degree. I signed loan firms once upon a time. All of which I took responsibility for. And paid back. You can call me names all you want. It literally does not matter to me how you feel about me. Good for you if you take responsibility. It's called adulthood. There's no prize for it.

1995 there's a reason why the Dept of Education is overseeing financial dealings with one of those reasons being that one. I've done my thorough research and they were. I never requested my loans be maxed. I did sign a form idiot. I know what happened to me, so I really don't need you questioning me sweetie. I do take responsibility, I know shocking isn't it? lol =P And when they begged me to stay because I was such a good student, etc etc I wasn't coming back lol. So in contrast, I'm very on top of all of my financial forms and they have made errors before. Lol speaking on crap you didn't experience. Just hush, you're sounding dumber by the second

CCI calls students who don't bother to go to class or participate. It doesn't work. Students who want an education are in class. Students who just want stipend money aren't. Outreach, in my experience, does not work in any way. Management will tell you differently. But they lie, so.

If loans were maxed, it could not have been without your permission. You signed the forms, right? You are an adult, right? Take some responsibility!!!!

I don't see an answer to the question of why Cci does the consistent calling of students. Does it work? If so, let's see some stats. Or, is it just done because it's required by the regulators/DOE/Title IV funding?

Oh and by the way, I had to find out a week ago that my loans were maxed without my permission, so it seems like you guys are thieves as well, but surprise surprise now the Dept of Education is watching everything closely. But yet Everest students are trying stipend checks. How ignorant of you to even assume that. Funny how the President of Corinthian collected 3.3 million last year, and how much did y'all collect behind the SCAM? Probably not as much, am I right? They say never bite the hand that feeds you, and in this case, those "welfare students" are the reason why. The more students that withdraw, the more jobs have to be cut, so I would be seriously kissing some a* than s* talking about them, especially when your job could be hanging in the balance.

How in the world can you speak about something you don't know? How do you know the people that attend Everest are on welfare? I see your ignorance is showing. Lol I graduated with my Associates with a 3.2 GPA only to find out later when the SCAM broke, so don't sit here assuming crap when you have no idea. And fyi I do work and go to school. I work 12hr night shifts and still do my schoolwork on my downtime. So before talking s*** walk a mile in my shoes, and trust me you wouldn't like it. So instead of stereotyping all Everest students the same, maybe you should see what the issues are. My issue was that every time I called someone I would get a different response to the same question. Maybe better training perhaps....But don't stereotype, no one person situation is the same.

Everest students for the most part are lazy, welfare collecting bums trying to keep from losing "they cheks n food stamps" and I personally do not feel sorry for them. They need to get off their lazy asses and be productive members of society. But sadly they won't that would mean no more public assistance.

Yes, students are victims. Blah blah blah. Poor students who sign loans and then never go to class. If students think the degree is worthless, don't sign loans. Don't sign up for school. But don't take the money and blame the school. You max out the loan. And you do it for the same greedy reason as the school. To have money that you have no intention of paying back. Students are poor victims. They sure are smart enough to show up in class every third week to keep that money coming. Poor students. The victims. You are adults right?!?' Take responsibility for your own actions!!!!! You sign those loan forms. Not anyone else.

Lol yet the school wants to blame the students. Student Services and financial aid chases people down, really? Oh yeah I guess if you have a balance on your account they do. What you reps do is a joke,, you're unorganized and don't know a d thing, so before blaming students how about looking at yourself first and why 85 schools are being sold. All you guys want is money, get real. Maxing out students loans so y'all can make a profit please. Yeah those students paying 20,000-35,000 for their education is in reality a worthless s** degree. Yeah a lot of those Everest students are smarter than they appear, and if you were smart, you should spend time trying to keep students instead of bashing them. Because in reality aren't they the reason you have a job? Idiots.

Is all the outreach just to keep accreditors happy? It doesn't work. I don't care how many success emails we get. Students choose to take out huge loans so they can get their stipends, never to be seen again. Then they get mad if you call them. I got hung up on so many times last term. Or they come up with the craziest excuses. Or they email saying they weren't in class because if 'blah blah blah' and exile t you to pass the assignment they never turned in. I hat FIVE students claim to have a stroke last term. That was a new excuse. I'm sorry if it's true, but that's a lot of strokes. What are those odds?!?'

90% of my students are complete shit heads who would rather have a clown car uterus than an education. They can barely form a coherent sentence let alone graduate.

If students are paying $20,000 to $35,000 for their educations, it's beyond ridiculous we spend our time chasing students down only to get yelled at for calling, or promises they will start going to classes. The joke is on is. How many students promise to come back or do the work, and then they jump onto a thread to make one post, and go MIA again for 2 weeks. It's crazy how little so many students value this opportunity. And it's shocking. Why would you NOT get the education? These loans will follow them for the rest of their lives. At least 59% or more do not care. They just do not. But we are supposed to. I don't get that.

Because they dont participate. Duh!!! Students need to be held accountable too. As a rep its sad to know what these students really want, money! Nobody wants an education. Those who do actually graduate work hard and they keep it up when looking for a job. There is good out of our school but thats never trust on the news.
