Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Do you smell something burning? Socle, CCI, whoever you are, your pants are on fire!!!

Wow!! Have you guys looked at Socle Education’s website? Socle has a case study on their client CCI which states, in pertinent part:

“In 2009, CCi found itself facing a number of serious challenges. Accounts receivables and bad debt were at unacceptable levels. Within two years, Socle’s program’s yielded: Student Satisfaction up 25%, Student Retention up 17%.”

Wow that sounds incredible or incredulous! Why? First of all Socle is CCI (at least a subsidiary) they even have the same address. Secondly, Socle wasn’t even a twinkle in CCI’s eye in 2009; in fact they weren’t incorporated until February 8, 2013. Look I understand marketing and poetic license, but when one’s accused of fraudulent practices shouldn’t the mere appearance of impropriety be avoided? Guess it’s hard to teach old dogs new tricks. Oh well, just pour some water on it, no one will notice.

Socle was created by CCi to address the bleak cohort default situation. Socle is the scripted process to bring these troubled areas back to baseline and keep them there through managed tasks. This process worked so well other For-Profit organizations started taking notice allowing CCi to create a possible revenue stream.

Socle suggest that CCi was doing so bad back in 2009, they had no where to go but up!
