The travesty is what is happening to those of us who hold "real" degrees, who toiled endlessly to make sure the students in the linear programs received the education that they were promised and who also made sure those students were prepared for the career they wanted. Finally, those who networked with their people to insure that the students were hired in positions that would meet the requirements of the Gainful Employment Act without any help from Career Services. Unfortunately they never have and never will receive the recognition they deserve and if fact will have difficulty finding a job due to their association with this criminal enterprise. As for me, their manager, I was the first to go. It seems as though they are so intimidated by those of us with "real" degrees that they don't care about the bigger picture. I think they should all burn in hell.

I hope you are right. Nothing would please me more than to see these monsters get what's coming to them! But judging from the past somehow they always come out smelling like a rose.
As far as extracting value, after the shock and depression passed, I am left with the satisfaction that I did change student's lives "for the better" everyday I was employed by CCI and they can't take that away from me. They too change student's live but, unfortunately, not always for the better.
Looking to the future I think there is a real need for colleges modeled after for profits. We truly need to continue to educate the demographic that we served but without the huge cost factor and staffed with educators not salespeople. Any ideas out there?
I think they should burn in hell too. But here on Earth, I keep wondering if there's anyway to save ourselves, to extract some value or retain something from this burning ship so we aren't left with nothing but a petty severance. It sickens me that that scumbags who destroyed these schools are profiting from their behavior and will never be held accountable.

Why do you think CCI will survive? I think we'll be closing the doors for good in 18 months.
