No More Laptop Support

Another great decision by "Leadership"-they have eliminated the only team that handles/troubleshoots the school issued laptops. Plan is to train all the advisors/success coaches to perform that task. What a cluster that will be. In the meeting I was in, the Chief Academic Dean said this all had to be accomplished by this Monday. Are you kidding me? Where do they come up with this stuff? These students have no other PC to use other than the one the school sends-no way they keep up with participation requirements. They already have to wait an hour or more to reach someone to assist them with their laptops-and that's when there was a dedicated team. Bet they change the 14 day dismissal participation policy, just like they did with the 0.0 GPA. Anything they can do to bring in more suckers, I mean students, through the door before its closed.
