I don't work for the company anymore but I can't understand why they are protesting Staples stores. Shouldn't they be more upset that their company, the US Postal Service, is trying to branch out to retailers to increase drop-off locations, thereby eliminating some necessity for USPS workers? I don't think Staples should be their immediate target. But, maybe this will be lucrative for USPS workers. More drop-off locations could mean increased awareness of shipping services offered by the USPS and direct competition of the current UPS drop-off station at the retail stores. And if it brings in more business for USPS, they could distribute that to workers and keep them on-board (although possibly reassigning them to other positions).

I used to work for Office Depot. They have done Postal Mail for years. We never saw one protester. But my Staples store had protesters. I don't make less at Staples, a quarter more actually. Why are so many people hating Staples lately?
