It's not just cci students that cannot find a job. Thousands of students attending "real" schools with "real" degrees cannot find a job as well. I would approximate that the majority of the cci students were mislead to enroll, but should the students that were NOT mislead be on the hook for the loans as well?
I am not a corinthian supporter, and I hope they close down really soon.
BUT...
To all the former employees that were riffed or fired and did not voluntarily leave, you better look in the mirror before you go on to bash cci. I understand that the economy is tough andhaving to support your family, but if you collected your paychecks knowing that the school was misleading the students, you have NO RIGHT to bash to school and you are as guilty as them. The students that are complaining are complaining because of what YOU did knowingly. After I found out that the school was a scam, I gave my two weeks notice without any potential job offer because it was the right thing to do.
In closing, I don't blame the employees for staying on to support yourselves, but DONT go around blaming cci if you are supporting them/supported them til you got fired. That's just hypocritical.
