I told him that I had been in the department since the store opening and actually the only remaining fulltime person trained by store opening merchandise team. He then had this look of shock in his eyes as he realized that what he was understanding was apparently not the case. I guess it was done by seniority but the opposite direction - the people there the longest and MOST and with the most seniority were let go. It seems in other cases as well from what I am reading on this site!

He lied.
I was the very first employee to be hired at my location over seven years ago and I got fired. They eliminated the entire task team.
