The Premier case may set a precedent for the use of the US False Claims Act. Whistleblowers may have the opportunity to collect huge sums here, and lawyers my be more willing to take future cases for employee whistleblowers. This legal strategy potentially could seriously damage some of the larger fish: Apollo Group, Corinthian Colleges, DeVry, ITT, etc.
