Thread regarding Cabela's Inc. layoffs

They are restructuring because some stores had 8 full-time employees in a department when they maybe only need 2-3 with all the budget cuts. And as far as how they're letting people go is they look at who came in last and theyre the first out. If you were a store admin you are cut no matter what. They were stupid to not have a set "rubric" on how many people a store can hire by department because now they look like a bunch of ruthless assholes. It is sad too because we just hired on a bunch of our seasonals. This company is half assed backwards. So centralized you have to ask them if you can wipe your ass, yet they have no idea what's going on in the stores.
