Yes, I do give people credit here for exposing the evils of UoP. I fact, some of that information that you have posted has been used by David Halperin and Danny Weil in their articles. Danny Weil has actually posted some of your posts directly in several of his Daily Censored articles. Two former UoP/Apollo Group employees: a former instructor who had been forced out for not adjusting grades, and a former enrollment adviser also wrote to me and explained what UoP was doing at the ground level. Another anonymous (and current) UoP instructor shared information and passed on information. And for that, I am grateful. I know there are people who have to pay the rent and feed their families, and who want to keep their jobs. Yes, I get that. But I know there are people out there who are willing to tell the truth, knowing the potential consequences. At this point, I don't want University of Phoenix to fail; I'd like to see them reform. But I know it's not going to happen as long as the driving force is maximizing profits over the short term. I believe this "culture of corruption" and "culture of silence" is not sustainable. What will be left of UoP in a year, two years, five years? I know it's a shadow of the school that it was ten or fifteen years ago. I would like to see students, profs, and staff who are interested in justice organize and struggle against this dehumanizing, oppressive profit maximizing machine. You have my email. Or you can write to David Halperin directly at davidhalperindc@gmail.com, but he is a very busy man.
