I love my job and I'm paid well. Benefits are great and my manager knows what he's doing. I don't care who believes me -- it's just the way it is. Go ahead and talk smack hiding behind your internet connection and I will continue to be satisfied with my career (along with just about everyone I work with). Sorry haters, but there are more of us than there are of you. Be happy for those who are happy. If you're unhappy, do something productive about it and stop whining.

I am truly happy you have good managers, you enjoy goal setting and like the new across the board VPs. In worlds there are layers of management whose main job is to record and document everything one does. They need to justify their positions. If you talk favorably about past VPs and the one who would come shake your hand and ask your day is going you get documented with a black mark in the corporate judgement book.
