I enroll and see what a poor job the school is doing with students. I know what the school charges for tuition and what the student gets in return. I see, hear and speak some of the unethical propaganda that University of Phoenix wants to put out in the community but what can I really do about it? I get told each month that I need to enroll atleast 6 to 7 students per month in order to keep my job as a senior and the school has been sued on different occasions for imposing a quota but they still do it? I have a copy of our new matrix and we get graded on how many new leads I can get into the system. I get graded on how many of those leads get REGistered and to top it off I get graded on if I can push them fast enough to become tuition paying students in 30 days from the first call. But what can I do? Haven't we been too court already over this? Haven't we already been penalized by different legal systems and public officials but we still do it! Our graduation rate is less than 30% over a 5 year period but no one seems to care. Why do you run this site and offer no real outlet to do something for the better? Shaulis, Halperin and Weir I really want to hear from your brilliant non-UOPX educated minds!!!

Did you know UOP has another company that is not education related? Are they throwing the funds from their under educated students into APTIMUS ADVERTISING? So a student goes to school, takes out 60K in loans, and this "University" puts those funds not into the students education, but into its other company, so they can make more money.

...and threaten the dopey manager when he tries to pressure me for more enrollments. I have recordings that will eventually be revealed to the public. For- profit schools are a total sham and should have their Title IV and VA status yanked for the worthless degrees they award and for the devastation wrought on so many disadvantaged students.
I understand your situation. You are being compelled to enroll students (with a quota) or you face termination. Yes, Apollo Group has been in court for "the matrix," and were supposed to follow a court order, yet they continue to violate the law, at least in spirit (see Hoggett et al. v University of Phoenix, link below). I can't tell you what to do, and there are no easy answers. The most important thing is to educate yourself and document the situation as best as possible. The second thing is to organize with like-minded people. Both of these activities have serious risks if you are detected. Technically, you may be protected if you attempt to organize and are fired, but that's a case you can lose. The third thing is that once organized with like-minded individuals, you take action. Some people file lawsuits, which can be protracted, and have no guarantee of success. What I do believe is that given Apollo Group's track record, they will continue to squeeze employees as they defraud students, especially if they face little or no resistance.
