Make sure to take plenty of pens and mechanical pencils.. these aren't cheap! Also, take anything personal that you don't want to leave in your cube as you won't be allowed back unless it's a coat or your car keys. All your other crap is tossed in a box by security (they will inventory it) and then you have to drive to pick it up on Redwood Road the following Monday at the warehouse. Be sure to get your contacts/references from friendly co-workers too...

They never returned all my personal items. Since they neglected to send them to the warehouse (a wasted 80 mile dive), I was without my jacket for two and a half weeks (they didn't get that into the box they loaded into the taxi with me (an $89 ride)). I feel lucky I got my pack back with my phone and keys, so I could get in my vehicle and home.
