Heald President says CCI better than public schools (Job Placement)

http://www.sacbee.com/2014/03/20/6251481/another-view-for-profit-colleges.html..."Corinthian Colleges, a national organization of which I am a part, serves 77,000 students on more than 100 North American campuses and online. In 2012, more than 69 percent of Corinthian’s 38,700 graduates began careers in their fields of study. Some of our most popular programs, such as medical assisting and criminal justice, have placement rates that are comparable to or even higher than Corinthian’s."

If employer sees Heald then they figure that you were stupid just because a CHEAPER alternative called the PUBLIC community college was available.

"careers in their fields of study."

My friend has a degree from Stanford in Classic Studies. Wonder what career is in his "field of study?" The reason the students enter their "field of study" is because they have few, if any, other options. And what about the others? Let's just say even if my Stanford friend is not in his "field of study," whatever that might mean, he has no problem getting employed. So what if he is not in his field of study. This is a big problem for the Heald graduates, who, when not in their field of study, are usually unemployed. Oh well.
