When the economy went south, people were sitting around with nothing better to do than go to school. All those admissions reps got congratulated when there were lots of enrollments as if they actually did something, and that's not to mention the bonuses for managers, presidents and the like. Next thing you know, enrollments are down, so those same excellent reps needed to get the boot out the door for poor performance. Oh well, what can you do?
