Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

To the post below concerning wyotech instructors they are full time employees, at least at the Blairsville and Larmie campuses. The salary is starting at 40k and with each level increase, god luck with that, is a 10% increase. There are 5 levels.... Do the math, and in addition to merit raises, again good luck with that. The only classes they would get 1500 would be if an instructor volunteered to teach a Saturday only speciality class that they offer because the course cannot get licensed . The instructor gets a cut off the final student totally for teChing Saturday . This poor bastards at Everest and Heald get screwed teaching when it comes to pay. Administration and support personal make hourly rates ranging from 11 to 14 bucks starting out. If they can hire you at a lower rate they will.
