Thread regarding Career Education Corp. layoffs

Of course there will be layoffs! Students are getting smart and responding to all the negative press about AIU. Who wants to spend many thousands of dollars and get deeply into debt merely to benefit their corporate parent's shareholders. AIU is a joke and their degrees are garbage. Career Education Corporation schools have had all kinds of accreditation issues. In addition, they've been sued by former students, employees and even their own shareholders. The New York state attorney general obtained a $10 million dollar settlement because AIU inflated job placement numbers to attract more unwitting students. I hope students continue to give AIU the cold shoulder and they go out of business. The sole purpose of AIU is to entice students into taking out hefty loans for the shareholder's benefit. The students can't get decent jobs because employers don't respect AIU.
