Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Harassment

Several months ago I internally filed a harassment charges against my boss here at Sabre (Southlake, TX). Few weeks before this, I called the Human Resources and indicated that my boss was harassing me in front of my peers and coworkers. I also called him that very evening and told him to please stop harassing me as it was affecting my ability to work.

Yet, the issues continued even after I had that call with him. At that point I made the decision to reach out to HR. A couple of days later, the HR started with an investigation. Sabre HR said what your boss did was not considered illegal because I did not fall into one of the five documented discriminating types. I told them that harassing occurred and that I have health issues because of this.

I received an email from HR, the email stated that HR was investigating my case. I felt sick for the longest time, months… I also called employee assistance (should be confidential) and said that my health and performance at work have been affected. I wanted to take paid time off to recover (I had 60 days in the bank) but they called me into the office and I was fired on the spot.

I even told them that I cannot drive and my wife had to drive me to the office. The harassment investigation was never completed. Can this be considered harassment, retaliation, bullying and is there any point if trying to make things right here.
