You are clearly one of the many in this organization that is wholly unfamiliar with the concept of being held accountable and making things happen. I can see that some Directors (in title only) got their panties in a twist at the concept of someone actually making them do their jobs and set some actual standards. After all, they aren't used to it. It's not a value promoted at UOP.
Some people may not have liked Chris Felton's style but you could do nothing but RESPECT what he did. The reason for that respect is that he said what he meant, expected results and got them, didn't want to listen to mindless bullshit but WAS willing to listen if you approached him with a solution.
There are far too many inbred people in this company that think because they suckered a bunch of students into school back in the day, got promoted for that, and promoted again, that they are leaders.
You (the people trying to besmirch Chris Felton's name) have NO idea what a leader is.
Kissing ass and protecting your own ass don't make you a leader.
UOP lost a great one by that set up bullshit that happened to Chris Felton. And the company will reap what it has sown.
