Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

I was laid off on November 15th after almost 8 years of service. Was it hurtful, yes, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I had secured another job before I left my last one. I now work a job that I enjoy and I look forward to coming to everyday. I also know without a doubt that my leaders live out and walk out true core values. Many of you have sat around waiting on severance or merely living off of your 401k. You will soon discover that very few jobs are going to pay what Phoenix paid so you simply need to get over it and move on. Be willing to work hard and committed to working your way up in another organization. Most if you have allowed UOPX to cripple you financially and you resort right back to this pathetic place like an abusive relationship. Many of you were lazy when you worked there and you are still waiting on handouts from an organization that no longer needed or desired your services. Move on. You are wasting time. UOPX is not the end of the world.
