Look they basically gave 3 months severance to preclude most lawsuits associated with the WARN act and most lawyers would tell you to take it and be happy; if they had given you nothing or you are over 40 maybe then you could have something but if you got the 3 months take it and be happy, some got as little as two weeks. People still there think performance reviews in January will be another layoff wave except they will be let go with zero severance. I found another job in OKC and I hold nothing against CHK as I understand what the management is trying to do although methods I didn't necessarily agree with, ie not letting people clean out offices, get car keys etc...yes those things did happen to some of us. If you are still there I would be networking or going to job fairs regularly, and if gone best of luck at your new endeavors wherever they may lead.
