Thread regarding Manulife Financial Corp. layoffs

Just wait and see....front line staff are next. So if you're in QA or Development in the IT depts, watch your back! Better yet, start looking for a different role either within Manulife or outside. All testing and Dev will be off-shored. All pilars will be effected. Last year's layoffs will look like a walk in the park once you see the sweep in 2014. Manulife prides itself in not laying off in Dec or january....too much of a hit in the media to lay people off / fire them around Christmas (Yes I said Christmas and NOT the holiday season) If only they handed out decoder rings at Christmas so we could all predict our fate but alas, I can only dream of being able to afford a Armani suit. Maybe the cheap Harmani knock-off will have to do...do you think anyone will notice??? Naaaa....they think we're all sheep who couldn't possible have enough intelligence to figure out their master plan. Long live the Armani Suit!!! aka Paul L
