Yes Michael, it’s true that LM will not be moving into CSE. They’re looking for new tenants to help offset $1.5M in overhead costs. Micro-farad is holding an ‘All Hands Meeting’ on Nov 7 to present his ‘State of the Business Address’ (sounds political, doesn’t it?).
Maybe he’ll explain what happened to those missing golf balls, or the justification in spending $25K in NEW over sized furniture, or why his already GRAND office has to be larger-over sized furniture? All in an effort to cut costs thereby, enabling us to be more competitive. Let’s not forget the nearly $100K cost of repaving the parking lots, and the addition of the new Hollywood Squares carpeting-which we desperately needed. Since the rug’s color is ‘coffee bean,’ employees won’t have to worry about spilling coffee as it blends in nicely. Please don’t take this as being sarcastic, but we recently had a layoff.
On a lighter note the employees are still being entertained by ‘Touchy Feely’ as he got his panties in a wad because people were taking extra break time. Someone responded on a white board that we had to hurry back from break so we could go back to our workstations and do nothing. Needless to say, the white board was removed from the area. What if the comment had been scribed on a cinder block wall? I can hear Ronald Reagan now, “Mr. Director of Mfg., take down that wall!” LOL!
