Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

This is round 5 of the firings that I know of. I was part of the group a year ago and I too was part of a very successful campus. Apollo leadership only cares about stock prices, everything else be damned. The leadership is totally inept and couldn't lead a fart out of their own asses. Let's be honest: how does the University make money? Enrollments. So you blindly fire EAs, ADs, FAs that help ensure enrollment and retention at successful locations and expect that revenue and enrollment won't fall? My 1st grader could figure that out. I have run into former students and they said that they experience has been significantly worse without EAs on campus and have left in droves for other schools. I feel bad for the students and former employees, but also for the current employees that will get let go in the future as this Titanic of a company sinks into the the North Atlantic. I am so glad some of these "leaders" that really screwed things up are gone. They deserve it.
