Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

I'm sorry to say that former UoP workers (EAs and teachers)have contacted me about being harassed for not pressuring potential students and for not inflating grades. Some have recently reported this to the Higher Learning Commission. UoP may not be a community college but it does offer AA degrees, the equivalent of a community college degree. But community colleges often require placement exams for math, English proficiency, and writing, so that students with dificiencies can work on them before taking more challenging college course work. If you want UoP to survive, there will have to be major changes (and higher standards). Apollo Group cannot continue to rip off veterans and other working people without consequences, and uoP workers with principles have told me so.
