Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

I am a former campus President. 20+ years in the military (retired). 27+ years in proprietary education serving in literally all positions on campus. Held positions in schools in Iowa, Maryland, Georgia, Minnesota, Texas, and Illinois. FIRED from campus president position for failing the conditions of a PIP - specifically - failing to create a culture of engagement. Fired by a RVPO with less than two years in the business and former Best Buy music department head. Replaced by a person that has ZERO experience in the industry but who ALWAYS wanted to be in education. Fired in July 2012 after qualifying for yearly and 4th quarter bonus, but did not collect because I was not employed with Corinthian at the time of payout. However, I would have received the bonus had I chosen to retire. My termination completed the sweep in terminating all presidents in the region within a one-year time frame. All were tenured presidents with many years of experience and we were all replaced by individuals who cannot satisfy the state's requirements to be the chief management official. I now live on social security and am ashamed of the business that I was a part of for these 27+ years.
