Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

I kind of doubt it - I believe there are only around 1,000 engineers at L-3 CSW. Lay off 30%? Unless "engineering" means something different than "engineers". Or, getting rid of Mechanical Engineering group is a big share?
