Thread regarding Raymond James Financial Inc. layoffs

I don't work in IT or operations, but our dept head said layoffs were likely in our department based on Performance Manager reviews. We typically don't get reviewed until December so I guess there may be layoffs then. Performance Manager is such a joke. People with nothing to do have all kinds of time to type themselves up a real nice list of accomplishments. Those of us who are buried in work are always trying to complete our reviews the night before the deadline. In some cases trying to defend ourselves against unrealistic expectations by bad managers. RJ lost its heart when Tom James stepped down. Now it's just another bland big corporate entity. Happy Labor Day RJ slaves, if your boss doesn't have you working.
