Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Life is about perspective and who has control of that perspective. Someone who has lived a nice lifestyle and wishes to show others who would have not been shown a nice lifestyle based on their salary and financial place in life is someone who is a good person. CHK was ran by individuals who thought everyone deserves to work in an environment where you feel happy about your work place. I can promise you a garden to someone making 30000 to 40000 a year is much more important than a billion to someone already worth billions. So all of you that think CHK employees where or are spoiled. They're not. They were treated the way all employees should be treated that create a company of value. Stock holders where still getting rich off CHK, just not as rich as they wanted. So because some share holders want more millions and billions CHK has to go to a standard rule by fear organization. That's the perspective most people feel is the way things should be. Really think about that even in your own job for people who don't work at CHK. Should anyone have to work in an environment like that?! Every thing in life should be about trying to make it better for the sake of living, not for the sake of a dollar.
