@ Truth be Told: Strongly disagree. I believe they are cutting deep to save the company. Yes they will all make a ton of money, lots of people will be let go, unfortunately some of them will be good employees, and lives will change. But this is part of the process. The company was "breathing in" for years and years, held its breath for a year or two, and now is finally exhaling. This was due, sorry to say. A company whose growth is based on the price of a commodity and chooses not to acknowledge the ups and downs of commodities is destined to go through things like this. It hurts a lot of people, most of all those who do not prepare for events like this, or those who don't acknowledge the possibility of this happening.
