Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Well, today, they eliminated all of the EUO and Everest College-Phoenix student accounts staff. The entire staff, sans our manager, was herded into a conference room and told, en masse, that we were being let go effective immediately. Based on the fact that our Director was not present, I can only assume she was let go before the rest of us. We got no warning, other than the hint last week when we were notified of the fact that nobody was getting a raise. It irritates me, partly, because our team was responsible for completion of a lot of compliance related audits- things that other teams have not effectively managed to do in the past. Ultimately, this company is destined to fail.
