Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

I was laid off too after 25 years with the company and no explanation given. I did get a nice severance package though, $40K that will help out until I find other employment. The company will continue to lay off until they "right size" the organization to it's competition. There is also talk about the company being bought by Halliburton. Good luck to everyone still working there. The best thing the company could do is fire the 20 yr CEO and give the company some new leadership who will drive it in the right direction.
