Ok I have one more comment as a long term employee. We are loseing money, yet every week we get a new organization anouncement on who has been promoted. when I started at L3 16 years ago there was no middle management. Just team leaders who were suppose to rotate, but that never happened, Now we have more chiefs then indians, I was given a study and most managers average 6 employees yet they are over head. A team leader maybe 3 And they have to find high wall offices for all these managers of 6 people and that costs money to build new buildings and high walled offices. To me that is the demise of L3. Espesially in Operations have I noticed it. The test department has a manager or suoervisor for about 4 to 5 employess but the worst I read was Devlin Allens group with someone in management for each 3 workers. That is all over head folks and we do not make profit on overhead. look to Steve Eiting for this error in judgement. We do not nor never needed a manager over so few employess and now those not management are going to lose their jobs and then what? wil the managers design and build the product?
