Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

Last week L3 CS west announced two new vice presidents. We went from no middle mangagement 5 years ago to now having a manager over 4 to 6 people and the managers charge overhead and that takes away from the bottom line. It makes me angry that we have more chiefs than Indians now and they now want to lay off 20% or more of the Indians! Get rid of half the cheifs and L3's budget would be solved. When I started at L3 18 years ago it was only team leaders reporting to directors in a team centered inviroment. When Bronson left and Opp became president she got rid of the tem invironment and told the directors to hire and promote as they wanted. Now we are top heavy, and they will not remedy that. Fools.
