CCCs and other staff who also facilitate classes are not necessarily double dipping. I've been a facilitator for years in addition to my day job and never abused the policy against facilitating my contract courses on company time. I've always treated like a second job, putting in 60+ hours a week outside of my day job. Often, internal staff provide a better experience to students because they are more closely tied to the university than adjuncts. I've always appreciated the opportunity to facilitate outside of work and the extra income has benefitted my family tremendously. Please do not assume that all staff/faculty abuse this privilege. This is another unfortunate cut for long-term UOPers who have serviced our students well.
