Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Everyone is an "AT WILL" Staff, if you an employee has the right to quit their job at any time...then employers have the right to let go of staff at any time. It does not matter, how long you have been working there, or how much you have devoted your life to the company. I was one out of the ten that was laid off last year, and when I asked for what reason, I was told by the president, that I just happen to be the one chosen. I think it had to do with the fact that I called the 800 hotline, when I saw something that was not ethical. Do I think it's fair? "NO", but I was glad to be out of that place.
