Thread regarding Education Management Corporation layoffs

I used to teach at AI. Now I am glad I didn't take their full-time offer. Loved the job but the way they ran the place was ridiculous. They treat their academic directors like dogs and pay their part-timers chump change. The place had so much potential but EDMC just sucks the life out of the local schools. I don't believe publicly held schools work - too much obligation to the stock holders. Keep private schools private.
