Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

@CaptainObvious...sorry to say but some of the R6 folks were let go today. Good people, in fact. We're all people after all. Never made a mistake? I'm employed as well, and I shudder to think of the day when I make a mistake that costs me my job. And to those that crucify Susan, she can't be placed with 100% of the blame as if she wants this. Corporate is a nasty beast and they care more about that bottom line than you can imagine. I happen to believe that Susan cares about her employees' personal lives and would never opt for this if there was another way. The only criticism I have in all of this is that there weren't any warnings; really L-3 executive staff? You couldn't warn us ahead of time? Ever heard of WARN? It's way too sneaky to claim you "could not reasonably foresee business circumstances" when R6 and Encompass have been a long time coming.
